Flügel was organist at the castle church in Stettin. His extensive organ works show formal analogies to compositions by Franz Liszt and had a permanent place in the repertoire of many organists of the 19th century. Contents: Adagio “Through night to light” op. 113 – Organ piece for festive church services and for the concert performance of “Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr” op. 109.
