Description
“How beautifully the morning star shines”. 15 romantic chorale arrangements (Ped.)
As a rounding-off continuation of his tried and tested collections of romantic organ arrangements of well-known and popular Advent and Christmas chorales, Andreas Rockstroh is now presenting a collection of the popular song “How beautifully the morning star shines”. Once again, he has succeeded in bringing together melodious works by well-known and unknown composers of this era, who have managed to create a varied approach to one of the most beautiful songs in our hymn books. In Protestant services, the defining chorale for Epiphany and the following Sundays, in Catholic use it is sung throughout the church year as a heartfelt praise of Christ. The arrangements can therefore be used in a variety of ways and help to let the morning star shine musically too.
