In 2000, the manuscripts of these precious baroque music for keyboard instruments, which had been thought to be lost since 1945, were returned to their owner, the Hamburg State Library. The first edition contains sonically attractive works, including the only previously known compositions by Vincent Lübeck (the Younger). As was often the case in the Baroque period, the choice of instrument is left to the player.
