PUBLISHERS UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2023: Thank you so much for your patience and understanding whilst the Revised English Hymnal has been in editorial stages. We sincerely apologise for the delay. We are pleased to say that the current (6th) page proofs are the last – once these are checked and approved, REH will go to the printer – who are selected. We anticipate REH should be in our warehouse in Norwich in November. Of course, all back orders will be despatched first class.
PUBLISHERS UPDATE JUNE 2023: Thank you so much for your patience and understanding whilst the Revised English Hymnal has been in editorial stages. We sincerely apologise for the delay. It is fair to say that no-one involved in its preparation fully anticipated the complexity of the task, or the extent to which events in life would cause disruption and delay. Having a fairly large editorial committee that even before the pandemic was working across continents while continuing their other demanding work responsibilities has also been challenging. Much of the complex editorial work has had to be done remotely.
We are pleased to say that final corrections are now agreed and are being made now. The editorial committee will then sign these off as quickly as possible to the printer. We are now scheduling publication for September 2023 for the full music edition and further editions to follow. We remain fully committed to publishing this hymnal as soon as possible.

The publisher states “We are pleased to say that we are now at advanced proofs stage and final corrections are currently being examined by the team. Significant progress has been made and we are now correcting proofs for the entire set of contents. We are now scheduling publication for May 2023 for the full music edition and further editions to follow. We remain fully committed to publishing this hymnal as soon as possible. We are looking at releasing an online and printed sampler shortly.”

We now anticipate the full music edition to be available in late September 2021 with other editions to follow. We sincerely apologise for this delay and will update this page as soon as we have more information.
