Following time-honored tradition, this work opens with a four-part chorale setting and then progresses through variations.
These include a gentle 6/8 trio, a quick-paced “Dialogue”, and a triumphant fugue. Mr. Martinson’s contemporary harmonic style combined with a sense of freshness making the work appropriate for Easter or any season of celebration.
