In addition to the cycle op. 56 with five character pieces, the last edition of the series “Organ works by Rudolf Bibl” includes three larger individual works, of which the composition entitled “Trauerfuge” is particularly noteworthy. Bibl wrote the work immediately after the death of Johannes Brahms and incorporated motifs from his “Requiem” into it. Another volume with high-quality romantic literature for church services and concerts.
