Description
Organ works (Ped.) Edited by Otto Depenheuer
The Parisian organist Lefébure-Wely, who delighted his listeners in Saint-Sulpice with cheerful and exuberant music, wrote other works for organ in addition to his main work, “L’Organiste Moderne” in four volumes (BU 1053-1056), most of which he did not include in collections. After extensive research, Otto Depenheuer has now published a volume that, in addition to the well-known “Boléro de concert”, also contains works that have not been available for over 100 years.
Contents: Boléro de concert op. 166 – Adagio Romance sans Paroles op. 92 – Pifferari Venite adoremus – Élégie op. 96 – 6 Morceaux religieux – Offertoire.
