Description
Nine Marches (Ped.)
Edited by Jochen Riehm
Who would have thought that a popular and conservative German organ composer of the 19th century would compose a whole series of lively marches for the organ? Gustav Adolf Merkel did it and, significantly, he published them all in England. All nine marches are now being re-edited for the first time and are appearing in a complete edition for the first time. An impressive collection of festive and fun, unexpected organ music from the 19th century!
