He’s done it again: Andreas Willscher, known for his numerous excursions into the world of musical humor, has gone all out after the deliciously tongue-in-cheek “My Beethoven” (BU 2150) and with “My Bach” he takes on what is probably the world’s most famous organ work: Bach’s “565”, which, “enriched” with further quotations, is made to swing and dance. The piece is suitable for all occasions where an audience is to be amazed and delighted, such as unusual church services, cheerful organ concerts and organ performances. And another advantage: it is significantly easier to play than Bach’s original. Enjoy!
