Description
Angelic figures have populated the imagery of religions and painting since its beginnings. In the Bible, angelic figures appear in three main functions: as proclaimers, comforters and fighters. In this order, the three sides of an angelic performance have become the motto of this three-movement organ piece. A commissioned composition by the Siemens Arts Program for the 52nd Nuremberg Organ Week 2003.
