Description
Menuets (Man.) (First edition of the minuets by Albrechtsberger!)
Edited by Rudolf Walter
In Vienna, Rudolf Walter discovered the manuscript of six previously unpublished minuets by the Austrian composer and Beethoven teacher Albrechtsberger. They are characterized by their elegant sound and the early classical joy of playing that is clearly evident in them. The volume is completed by six minuets from the flute clock pieces by Joseph Haydn. Haydn and Albrechtsberger were friends for more than 50 years. Both died in 1809. Here they are brought together in a practical edition with six minuets each, each with equal status.
