Volume 7. Larger free organ works Volume 2 (Ped.)
The second volume of Herzog’s large free organ works brings together works of different textures, ranging from stately preludes and fugues and a virtuoso toccata to character pieces (with chorale references) and a cycle of variations in concert form. An enrichment of the romantic organ repertoire with new and rediscovered works that can be performed both in church services and as veritable “showpieces” in concerts.
