Roth Final Te Deum for Organ
The Final “Te Deum”, a composition for organ in three parts, was inspired by Pope John-Paul II´s visit to the basilica Sacré Coeur du Montmartre in Paris. Its thematic material is derived from the Ambrosian hymn “Te Deum laudamus ”. This brilliant and extensive organ fantasy was composed by Daniel Roth, organist of Saint Sulpice , Paris and professor at the Staatliche Musikhochschule , Saarbrücken.
Daniel Roth, one of the best-known contemporary organists, and winner of numerous international prizes and distinctions, has made many recordings and international concert tours.
