Description

The Fanfare in B flat was written for the 1955 dedication service at York Minster of the Astronomical Clock in the North Transept and is inscribed to the Toronto organist and teacher John Bradley.

The Goss-Radley Fanfare was commissioned by Robert Gower in 1991 to celebrate the installation of a new Warden at Radley College. Originally for trumpet duet and organ, the composer has reworked the piece for organ solo.

This publication is offered as a tribute to Dr Jackson as he celebrates his 103rd birthday in October 2020.

Two colour photos of the composer at home are printed in the copy.
