Epiphanie – Diversions on ‘Kingly’ themes. Epiphanie is based on various hymn tunes traditionally associated with the season of epiphany. It’s the last of three organ solos written for the festive period. Fantasy Variations (based on the hymn tune ‘Helmsley’ and long associated with Advent) is the first of the set. The second, for Christmas, A Christmas Carillon, is based on the carol In Dulci Jubilo.
