Concerto for Violin and Orchestra Op. 64
Known as one of the greatest violin concertos of all time, the second movement from Felix Mendelssohn’s orchestral work is abridged and transcribed here for organ. The use of a solo stop for the violin part allows it to soar above the orchestral accompaniment.
