Description
This posthumous collection brings together 37 of Christopher Tambling’s most beloved organ works. Born in 1964 into a musical family, Christopher served as Director of Music at Glenalmond College and Downside School. His music, influenced by Elgar, Whitlock and Stanford, captures the Romanticism of the early twentieth century whilst remaining thoroughly accessible.
Following his death in 2015, this collection preserves the legacy of a gifted church musician and composer, with an introduction by his son Edward Tambling.
