The goal of these performing editions is to present short and easy-to-play non-cantus firmus organ pieces written for single to two-manual instruments and grouped in the most commons keys. They are thus especially well-suited for part-time church organists.
The volumes include pieces by composers who display solid workmanship and a due regard for simplicity of execution. The editions are accompanied by a list of sources as well as detailed suggestions regarding performance.
