Andreas Willscher is considered a composer who is as productive as he is versatile. In addition to twelve- and quarter-tone compositional excursions, he also repeatedly acknowledges musical tradition and creates works that sound good, are practical and simply give pleasure. The formal diversity of this volume ranges from small inventions to cycles of variations – there is unity in the richness of sound and the easy to at most medium level of difficulty of all the pieces.
