Description
Organ album (Ped.) edited by Andreas Rockstroh
Max Gulbins is still one of the vastly underrated masters of German organ romanticism. The church musician and composer, who worked in East Prussia and Silesia, knew how to work and exist independently alongside Reger and his circle and to write meaningful, high-quality organ works. The most beautiful titles from his numerous organ cycles were selected and brought together in an anthology. Whether romantic character pieces, sophisticated chorale arrangements or masterful double fugues: here we have a significant collection of German organ music from the turn of the 20th century. All pieces are of medium difficulty and are equally suitable for church services and concerts.
