After the overwhelming success of the volume “Intrada” with works especially for the festive beginning of the church service (BU 2910), the counterpart is now published by popular demand: an extensive collection of pieces composed especially for this purpose for the more meditative parts of the church service (communion, Holy Communion, after the reading of the scriptures or sermon …) and concert. The exclusive contributions come from 20 renowned composers of our time. The characteristics of all pieces: technical accessibility (at most C level), length 3-5 minutes, playability on a maximum of two manuals and a solid, tonal language that can be understood and gratefully received – even enjoyed – by players and listeners alike. The volume is recommended as a reliable companion for all organists who are “liturgically engaged” – whether in a part-time or full-time capacity.
