Three chorale paraphrases op. 17 (Ped.) Edited by Michael Pohl
This volume combines three larger works from the early (still late romantic) creative phase of the Leipzig Nikolaikirche organist and university professor. All pieces bear the individual signature of one of the most important German organ composers between the world wars, which is clearly different from Reger. The only moderately difficult works are particularly suitable for concert performance – individually or as a cycle.
