The Dresden organist and composer Otto Thomas adapted 34 selected, mostly shorter works from the rich treasure of Bach’s piano, choir and oratorio music for the organ in a style that is easy to play and suitable for the instrument. This edition is intended for use in lessons, but can also be used in church services.
Contents: 2 preludes (BWV 870a and BWV 854) and 1 fugue (BWV 849) from the Well-Tempered Clavier – 16 chorales – Movements from the Christmas Oratorio, from the Passions, from the Goldberg Variations, from suites and cantatas.
