The second volume of Camillo Schumann’s chorale preludes is now available in its first edition, and once again it is a brilliant collection of chorale arrangements that are practical, liturgically suitable and have a late romantic sound. This volume, which contains a total of 21 chorales (song beginnings B to M), once again offers a rich selection of literature throughout the church year, but also contains, for example, one of the rare arrangements of “I worship the power of love”.
