Description
Tree Pictures – Suite for Organ (Ped.)
Throughout all eras, nature, and the charisma of trees in particular, has exerted a great fascination on people. Just think of the romantic enthusiasm for forests in the 19th century. The renowned Munich composer Enjott Schneider has pursued this fascination: his suite “Tree Pictures” is a musical search for the mythical atmosphere that emanates from various trees. The result is multi-coloured, shimmering meditations of different characters, primarily suitable for concerts, which offer plenty of scope for associative, image-rich music-making at a level of medium difficulty at most.
