Four Original Compositions for organ by Hubert Bath (1883-1945). Hubert Bath was born in Barnstaple, Devon in November 1883 and died in London in 1945. He was a pupil at the Royal Academy of Music and was involved at the start of the “talkie” films, contributing in 1929 to the score of Hitchcock’s “Blackmail”. Many others followed, culminating in “Love Story” which contained his mini piano concerto “Cornish Rhapsody”, often recorded alongside Addinsell’s “Warsaw Concerto”.
